Agreement to terms
By using AISlopScanner you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short: the service is free, local, and holds no data.
1. Description of service
AISlopScanner provides a free, browser-based heuristic analysis of text you paste into it. The service runs locally in your browser and is provided as-is.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the detector for any lawful purpose. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at abusive rates, or misrepresent its output as an authoritative authorship determination.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The detector is an opinionated heuristic system. Scores are indicators, not proof. We make no guarantee that results are correct, complete, or appropriate for any specific purpose — including academic integrity, employment, or legal proceedings.
4. Intellectual property
The site's design, copy, and code are the property of their authors. You retain all rights to any text you analyze; we never receive a copy.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damages arising from use of — or inability to use — the service, including decisions made on the basis of a slop score.
7. Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. You may stop using it at any time; no account exists to delete.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms; the current version lives on this page with an effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
