1. Overview & Privacy-First Architecture

AISlopScanner is built with a strict privacy-by-design architecture. We believe utility tools should not hoard your private writing. This document explains what information is processed when you visit our website, how third-party advertising supports our free operations, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

2. 100% Local Text Analysis (Your Writing Stays Private)

The core AISlopScanner text detector runs entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript.

• No server transmission: When you paste or type text into the scanner, that text never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, nor is it sent to any backend API.
• No AI training: Because we never receive your text, your content is never logged, stored, sold, or used to train machine learning models.
• No third-party text access: Advertising networks (including Google AdSense) and analytics tools have no access to the text you paste or the scan results generated in your browser tab.
• Session-only: Once you refresh or close your browser tab, your analyzed text is immediately cleared from browser memory.

Optional URL scanning: If you use the "Scan URL" mode, the web address you enter is sent to third-party content-extraction services (currently r.jina.ai, with api.allorigins.win as a fallback) to fetch the article on your behalf. The URL and the fetched article content are processed by those services under their own privacy policies. Pasted or typed text is never sent anywhere.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

When you browse our static website, standard technical request data may be temporarily logged by our hosting infrastructure (such as Cloudflare or web servers) for operational stability, DDoS mitigation, and security. This may include:

• Your Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type, language, and operating system
• Referring URL and requested page paths
• Date and timestamp of the HTTP request

We do not require user registration or accounts, meaning we maintain no user databases, passwords, or personal profiles.

4. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

To keep AISlopScanner free and accessible to everyone without paywalls or subscriptions, we display digital advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense.

In accordance with Google AdSense program policies and international privacy regulations, please note the following:

• Third-party vendor cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
• Advertising cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites across the Internet.
• Third-party ad networks: In addition to Google, other third-party ad networks or vendors may serve advertisements on this website. These companies may place or recognize unique cookies, web beacons, or device identifiers on your browser to measure ad performance and deliver relevant advertisements.

5. How to Opt Out of Personalized Advertising

Opting out of personalized advertising does not mean you will no longer see ads; it means the ads you see will be generic and not tailored to your browsing history.

For residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other US states with consumer privacy legislation:

• Right to Know & Delete: You have the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, and to request deletion of your personal data.
• Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. Some state privacy laws define the use of third-party advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising as a "sale" or "sharing". You may opt out using the links in Section 5 or by sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser.
• Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

AISlopScanner is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove such information.
